Autumn 2012
PROGRAMME
Meetings second Wednesday of the month, 7.30 p.m.- usually at
WERRINGTON VILLAGE HALL (room  at the back, by the car park) at the junction of the A52 (Ash Bank Road) and Salters Lane

WEDNESDAY 12 SEPTEMBER – Some thoughts on NO DIG GARDENING by NSOG member Adrienne Robinson, whose enthusiasm has recently been inspired on one of Charles Dowding’s short courses – please bring your questions.

WEDNESDAY 10 OCTOBER – Short AGM, followed by our usual very enjoyable BRING-AND-SHARE HARVEST SUPPER : bring something to share, plus a drink if you wish, and plate, bowl, glass and cutlery (and a carrier bag if you don’t want to wash up before you go home) – we’ll provide tea and coffee.  Subs 2012-2013 now due !

WEDNESDAY 14 NOVEMBER – Talk by Myles Bremner, Chief Executive of GARDEN ORGANIC RYTON – we’re affiliated to this organisation, the main one for organic gardeners, and are delighted to welcome Myles to talk about future policies and activities.  This meeting will be held at the SUSTAINABILITY HUB at KEELE UNIVERSITY – it’s a joint meeting with Action Organic–Stafford, as Alec from Action Organic and Bryan from NSOG had both been rather concerned about a few things at Garden Organic, and had each contacted Myles Bremner, which resulted in him offering to come and give us a talk.   The Sustainability Hub is in the refurbished farm buildings, just in front of you when you get to the first small roundabout after entering the Keele University campus.  Please come and support the talk !
